The Padres' first no hitter!

On April 9 earlier this year, Joe Musgrove pitched the first no-hitter for the Padres against the Texas Rangers! This meant that the Padres finally got their first no-hitter! This means that all 30 MLB teams have at least one no-hitter! It makes me happy a lot nowadays! The Padres ended up going 8,205 regular season games and 40 postseason games before they finally got their first no-hitter! The only batter Joe Musgrove allowed to reach base was when he hit Joey Gallo in the fourth inning, but he retired all the other batters! I'm just so glad that they got their first no-hitter just two months before I finally returned to New Trier! Beforehand such as when I was at New Trier before COVID-19, it bothered and distracted me too much that the Padres were the only MLB team without a no-hitter! There were many times at New Trier beforehand where I chose not to socialize with others and think too much such as not visiting Ms. Buell's room that much and be on my technology a lot because I would've hated to tell people that the Padres were the only team without a no-hitter when discussing no-hitters! After all, Joe Musgrove will always be special as he pitched the Padres' no-hitter in their 53rd season, similar to how Johan Santana will always be special as he pitched the Mets' first no hitter in their 51st season on June 1, 2012!
