Why I didn’t like being a donation attendant and later a utility worker at Goodwill

It was too painful being a donation attendant since usually for 3-5 hours, I had to pick up donations from customers who were in their road vehicles and give them a receipt if they wanted it, put the donations in the soft line and the hardline bins from the blue bins, use my box cutter to cut up boxes and put them among the discarded boxes, write down and put sticky notes on donation bins before re-opening them, put recycled things in the black cart on wheels and empty it out once it got full, salvage clothes when I’d take the clothes from the bin and put them in the machine and press it down once it got full so I could continue doing it, empty out the bins with recycling stuff, scan books to learn what I should do with them where I’d salvage them, put them in a bin underneath if it was accepted or put them on the rolling carts if it was a hot list book and help bring shopping carts back into the store.
